Job Summary
DP World is looking for an experienced Light Forklift Operator to join our operations team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in container handling, warehouse logistics, and port operations, ensuring safe and efficient movement of empty containers across the facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift equipment for empty container movement, stacking, and positioning.
- Load and unload containers from trucks, ensuring accuracy and minimal delays.
- Move containers to repair bays and wash facilities as per operational needs.
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of forklift cabins, controls, and windows.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines, workplace procedures, and port regulations.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience working in a Container Park handling empty containers.
- Experience operating a Twinpick Empty Handler is mandatory.
- Valid Light Forklift (LF) operating license.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical test, including drug and alcohol screening.
